SDS, Sodium dodecyl sulfate, sterilized by 0.1 μm filtration, DNase & RNase free, Protease-free, Pyrogen-free, is mainly used to separate nucleic acids from proteins, remove certain viruses from host cells, and act as a protein electrophoresis reagent. It can also be used for plasmid extraction. Biologix SDS buffer is a commonly used biochemical reagent with a wide range of uses. It can be used for SDS-PAGE, bacterial alkaline lysis, etc.
