Product Details
TAE (Tris Acetate-EDTA) is a commonly used DNA electrophoresis buffer, often used in agarose gel electrophoresis and less commonly used in PAGE gel electrophoresis. When the resolution requirement is not high, both TAE and TBE can be used; when the resolution requirement is relatively high, a lower concentration of gel is beneficial to improving the resolution of large molecular weight nucleic acids (> 13 kb), and TAE is suitable for this case.
