Product Details
2-(N-morpholino) ethanesulfonic acid (MES), is a zwitterionic buffer commonly used in biochemistry and molecular biology. Its structure is similar to 3-(N-morpholino) propanesulfonic acid (MOPS), both of which belong to Good's buffer reagents.
MES electrophoresis buffer is a commonly used protein gel electrophoresis buffer in biological experiments, suitable for electrophoresis of Bis-Tris buffer system polyacrylamide gel. This product is an ideal buffer for electrophoresis of low molecular weight and medium molecular weight proteins, and contains SDS, which is suitable for denatured gel protein electrophoresis.
